I have a TemPageR monitoring our data center that supports SNMP. I downloading the corresponding .mib file and imported it into the MIB bowser. When I configure a new test to check one of the temperature sensors the reply field reads 'Cannot resolve server name to IP address'.
Is there something that I'm missing while configuring either the test or HostMonitor itself? I can ping the device through a ping test so I know it is not an issue of no being able to communicate with the TemPageR. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could you provide more information, please?
- What version of HostMonitor do you use?
- What Windows do you use? Service Pack?
- Do you have installed antivirus monitor? Personal firewall? Content monitoring software? Non-standard winsock components? Network packet analyzer?
- Are you able to get the appropriate OID using MIB Browser?
Have you tried to specify IP-address into the "Host[:port]" input box in "Test Properties" window of "SNMP Get" test method?
HostMonitor version 6.78+ supports SNMP v1, v2c and v3. Please ensure you have propperly fulfil the "SNMP profile" for the test: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mfra ... nmpaccount
