SNMP Traps and new statuses

Post by thomasschmeidl »

Hi,

is the evaluation of the "normal" and "Warning" expressions performed after receiving an SNMP Trap?

No, it works for any test method except SNMP Trap.
Do you need that option as well or you just curious?

Hi Alex,

I have the following setting:

Firewall and other devices send traps in case of authentification failure.
One or max. two consecutive failures are normal (mistyping happens).

So I wanted to set up:

Test bad condition: Trap received
Test good condition: No bad trap within 300 secs
Use Normal Status if [x] (%FailureIteration%>=1) and (%FailureIteration%<=2)

Regards
