Log file processing

Post by thomasschmeidl »

Hi,

we use a .txt-log as primary log (midnight mode) and an ODBC-log as backup log (full mode)

Q1: Do the "special file processing options in the log processing tab ("if common log(s) is bigger than ...) apply for both common logs?

Q2: If yes, are the sizes added?

Q3: Would it make sense to have different options for primary and backup log?

Q4: Would it make sense to have similar options for the system log as well?

Regards

It applies to primary and backup FILE logs.
Q2: If yes, are the sizes added?
No, size of the file is size of single file. Specified action will be applied to file(s) bigger than specified limit.

I don't see much sense. Do you?

It's not that important to prevent you from working on 6.52 ;-)

Cheers
