Mail Reply - not working (for me)
Hello again,
I'm trying to set up the Mail Reply test. Please help!
I've configured the test according to the required parameters, but I have the following problem. The mail is sent correctly using SMTP protocol, but HM is unable to read the mail (using IMAP protocol) which it had just sent.
I've tried to connect to the mailbox from the same HM server using an Outlook Express client and I have no problems seeing the messages sent by HM.
What am I doing wrong?!

Please, verify Incoming mail server settings for the Mail relay test. Have you selected IMAP protocol? Are you sure you have specified correct user name password?
Probably, your IMAP server requires TLS or SSL authentification? Sorry, HostMonitor has not supported secure authentification yet.

Sorry, we could not reproduce the problem in our environment. If you are sure of all settings, the only cause I see is that incoming server does not accept connection or authorization for some reason. Do you have access to the IMAP log files? It would be usefull to know what is happening.
On the another hand, you may try to increase timeout in the "Incoming mail server" area. It might help.

When connecting a non-Outlook client to an MS Exchange mailbox the username has to be specified as DOMAIN/USERNAME/MAILBOX in the case of IMAP. MS clients such as Outlook Express or Pocket Outlook will allow you to use just the mailbox name, but this is not generally the case with other clients. for the username? Don't you mean mailbox?
When I switch off the Check mailbox flag in the IMAP test, that test works.
When I try a different mailbox I receive and read the mail, but HostMonitor can't.
I've tried putting domain/user/mbox and domain\user\mbox and every variant in between in the mailbox fields, but all of them fail.
