Hello Alex,

is it possible to change the maximum number of lines shown in the quick log pane?

Can you add such feature to the wish list - low priority?

Thanx

Hi Alex,

Making experiments with the new statuses one realizes that there are much more status changes when all statuses are used as intended. (OK - Normal - Warning - Bad ...) .

This means that critical events will be removed out of the quick log too fast now, thus troubleshooting is hampered.

Would you mind giving my wish a higher priority now?

Cheers

This feature is needed in the near future please. Even as a quick and dirty one. (i.e. double the number of records)

Premium solution may be: Keep x days.

Many thanks

Quick log - more entries

Just a vote for this also. We really like the web-based HostMon and the Quick Log is very useful, but sometimes too short.

Thanks!

Hi Alex,

do you think, you can help us shortly ?
Sometimes I see only 4 hours in the QuickLog Pane.

Many thanks

No success with v6.72

Post by JuergenF »

Dear Alex,

I tried that, but no success:
Changed the hostmon.ini

Code: Select all

[Misc]
QuickLogSize=395
Restart Hostmon-Service and Web-Service.
Created new Log entries
But only 50 Entries visible

Any ideas ?

Many thanks

I had to set the "DashBoard report attributes" to "Display 400 latest any events at the bottom" as well.

Thank you for changing that feature.

Juergen

PS: Now I see. That are two different functions. Sorry I didn't read the "What's new" good enough.

Sorry, maybe I don't understand it.

I changed the entry in the Misc-section:
QuickLogSize=400.

Now I can see

10 entries for a single test
50 entries for a folder
400 ( ? I didn't count them) entries for the root folder

Is that correct?
Is it possible to display 400 entries for a single folder as well?
