Use primary and backup log as file, one as dbf and one as tx

Can i do the above, i mean have two logs, one as dbf and one as txt, for primary and backup logs? I tried it and i see the second log (txt) remains emtpy.

There is a special option "Use primary and backup logs all the time". Option is located on Options > Log Processing Tab. You just should enable this option. By default is used "Use backup log when primary is not accessible."
