AHM v6 Beta - page rendering problem in Web interface

Post by FLynch »

Hi There,

Great new functionality in the v6 beta!

Noticed one issue:

Looking at the web interface, text in columns in the right hand frame are wrapping on to multiple lines as you add more test properties to the display. It makes reading the page really quite difficult.

This is on a fully service packed IE v6 browser running on Windows XP.

Thanks
Fergus

Yes, text in some fields can be wrapped if you don't have enough space on screen. Its normal.
Don't like that? Probably we can add some option...

"Probably we can add some option..." Yes please! In terms of usability I think an option to display a single 'un-wrapped' line for each test would be a very good idea - it would make the screen much less cluttered.

To accommodate long lines where many test parameters have been selected for display would simply require a slider for the right hand frame.

Many Thanks

Ok, new version provides new option "Do not wrap text at the right margin" (Preferences page)
Update available at www.ks-soft.net/download/ws272.zip

New feature works perfectly!

Hi,

That's great, works absolutely perfectly (I've tried it on a number of versions of IE) and really improves the readability of the web pages.

Many Thanks Fergus

Hi Alex,

I have the same issue but when I was trying to use this link www.ks-soft.net/download/ws272.zip I'm getting URL not available.
Could you please provide the working link?

Thanks.
