Hello !
I'm looking to do a retrie on a test before before posting the bad status and display a red line in the console. Is it possible ?
I'm a beginer with host monitor. I try to use Host Monitor on our Network. We have 60 remote office connected with VPN over ADSL. The VPN aren't very stable and somtimes a test failed just because the packets are lost. With this size of network we always have one error in one remote office just because a packet was lost. We use ping, snmp test, oracle connexion end tcp test.
(sorry, my english is very bad... i hope you can understand my question.)
Thanks
Teddy
Redo a test before showing bad status
Re: Redo a test before showing bad status
Yes. It is possible. You should try Repeat Test action: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mfra ... #actRepeatteddy42 wrote: I'm looking to do a retrie on a test before before posting the bad status and display a red line in the console. Is it possible ?
But you sould be aware and use this action with another one, e.g.
1 Action: Repeat test
Start when: 1 consecutive "bad" result occur
Retries: 1
2 Action: send e-mail
Start when: 2 consecutive "bad" results occur
Retries: 1
You could read more about actions and action properties here:
