"test every" 24 hours

Post by rs4u »

Hi folks,

just thought it was great if I you could enhance the "regular schedule" from 23:59:59 test interval to 24:00:00 so tests execution time would not move a second each day.

Thank you, Rainer

If test needs more than 1 sec to check status of the device, test execution time will move anyway. "Test every 10 mins" means 10 mins since previous check has been completed.
So, if you need to perform some check once a day exactly at specified time, use Schedule option.

Wasn't aware of that, thanks.
But this would make it even more desireable to have scheduled tests at absolute times. I hope my wish for "Cron job"-like schedules will be backed up...

Yes. Probably we should add "cron-like" parameter to selection of "Irregular" schedules. Or may be we should make some converter that will tune up regular schedule using "cron-like" string input...
