HMS Script Enable Alerts

Post by sherrera »

Hi Alex,
I see there is an HMS Script available to enable/disable all tests. Am I missing something similar for alerts? I would like to enable the alerts if they have been off for a certain period of time.

Thanks

H'm. If alerts are disabled, HM Script will not be started (because "Run HMScript" is one of alert methods). If HM Script will not be started, it cannot enable alerts...

Unders the Pause monitoring/alerting dialog there is a check box to start an action profile everytime alerting is stopped/paused. I was going to make the action profile be a script that would kick off after being off for so long. Perhaps I am not thinking it out correctly.

Right. This allows to set notification to admin or perform some backup procedures.
