SO what is the snmp get test used for ? what does it report ?
As far as permissions, no local admin permissions changed, could network performance cause this problem as well ?

My fault.
I installed HM logged in as local admin, I logged in as my domain account today....what can I do to have HM work the same regardless of login...run as service right ? where do I modify the startup command ?

Sorry... Host Monitor 4.70 Local Computer running HM, W2000, Sp2. Remote Server that I'm trying to run the test on, W2000 Server, Sp3. Note - I got one set of results today, that gave me the details of the CPU usage, then the next time it was set to check, which was 5 minutes later....its stuck sayi...

I have about 85 tests total, mostly ping tests and CPU usage tests. The CPU tests are set to run every 5 minutes, and connect via IP, as local admin. I set them up yesterday and they were working fine, but today, they constantly report a "Checking" state...I never get a result.... Any idea...

Is there a getting started manual ? I want to monitor my local LAN, and 15 or so WAN sites, along with CPU/disk utils....a few critical processes...just looking for a place to start, or a doc to give me some more ideas of whats worth monitoring. Also, how does the IP tools util come into play ? Than...
