I tried the ip address and the dns name, with and without leading \\'s. The 'last reply' is saying "Win32 error #1722" - which is an RPC error. The RPC service is running correctly, i even tried rebooted the server... this server has no other connectivity issues. the server which DOES work...

strange thing: we're having trouble with any test that requires credentials eg retrieving a service list on a server might work on one server while it doens't on another. the two tested servers are in the same subnet as the hm server - so no firewall or otherwist blocking anything. same with retreiv...
