Event Log Test Properties - Event variable
Hello, I am attempting to setup a test that will send an alert whenever a user exceeds their mailbox size limit. This is denoted in Event Viewer by the ID of 8528 and the Description provides the username having the trouble. What I would like to make work is in the Event Log Test Properties page, un...

Email Send in 'Action' - Advanced Mode
I am not getting any Email to fire when a condition is met. Might be a syntax issue, or just my understanding of the documentation. Here is the setup - ver 8.14 Advanced Host Monnitor (AHM) is running a test (NT Event Log), I get the regular email if something goes 'Bad'. However, on occation the ac...

Allow action against the Access Denied error.
The reply to a machine with "System Error. Code: 5.Access Denied" currently sends the set Bad action in motion. It would be nice to have the ability to set a 'special' action/message for that error.

NT Event Log check
When using NT Event Log Test to look for a certain event condition or event, how far back in the given Event Log (EVL) does AHM look? We maintain months of EVL entries, and the event that I am looking for is in the log numerous times. AHM only seems to catch a new occurance, which is fine, but I nee...

Something I discovered - I use RCC to access AHM on a server, and found that if I try to use the Drive Free Space test, the drive selections are for my local machine, not for the server on which AHM is running. I must use the UNC path to check items on 'remote' units. Not sure if this has anything t...

Adding Authorised IP addresses.
I like the app. Ver. 8.14. However, the point at which you add an IP address for Operators (User>Operators...>Accept Remote Connections From) needs help. To add an item (IP Address) to a white field, you need to press the Insert key?! No click with the mouse?! That does not even match the other fiel...

Alerts not working
I have installed 8.14 and 8.06 on two different machines. I have created a basic Ping test that has no trouble running and finding the target. However, none of the Alerts for a successful test are working. I have tried Email, external program start (cmd.exe), and just a popup. The test runs every 10...
