We monitor our applications' outgoing and incoming packet frequency by performance counter.
The amount of packages differs a lot during the day, there is a lot of packages early in the morning and late afternoon but fewer in the middle of the day, during evenings, nights, weekends and so on.
I would like to be able to have different thresholds depending on the time of day and daytype on one and the same test.
Today we solve it by setting up multiple tests checking the same value.
