Hi.

I test Folder/File Size on RMA for Linux.

The file is not displayed on the HostMonitor.

This case is generated when the file size is 2G byte or more.
Files that are smaller than 2G byte are displayed.
Moreover, it not only displayed but also it decreases up to the size
of the folder.

Is it a bug?

However, the file is displayed normally on Linux.

Latest version HostMonitor and RMA for Linux use.

Windows2000server - HostMonitor
Redhat Enterprise Linux ES release3 Kernel 2.4.21-4 - RMA for Linux

Sorry, I am not sure I understand the problem. What means "file is not displayed"? Folder/File Size test method should not display a file, it should show size of the file in Reply field of the test.
Do you see wrong size value? I thought we have fixed this problem long time ago...

Hi,Alex

I'm sorry how to tell it ..bad...
It is an example of the case.

*test*
Folder/File size

*target*
/usr/loca/log.txt

*Size on Linux - reply on HostMonitor*
1957846Kb - 1911Mb
2154880Kb - 0Kb

Change in size at this time of folder

*target*
/usr/loca/
[select include sub-folders]

*Size on Linux - reply on HostMonitor*
5957846Kb - 5Gb
6154880Kb - 4Gb

When other files exceed 2Gb, it is the same.

And the file of 2Gb or more doesn't exist when select it push the browse button on test setting window.
file masks is[*]

Looks like one module was compiled without -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 option.
There is update at www.ks-soft.net/download/rma121_lin.tgz

I tried rma121_lin.tar

But HostMonitor reply is "RMA:301 - Folder/File doesn't exist or Access denied"

This happens to not only the file that exceeds 2Gb but also the folder.
:(

It doesn't happen in a file and a folder that is smaller than 2Gb.

examples

*test*
Folder/File size

*target*
/usr/loca/log.txt

*Size on Linux - reply on HostMonitor*
1843246Kb - 1800Mb
2154880Kb - RMA:301 - Folder/File doesn't exist or Access denied

Change in size at this time of folder

*target*
/usr/loca/
[select include sub-folders]

*Size on Linux - reply on HostMonitor*
1957846Kb - 1911Mb
2269480Kb - RMA:301 - Folder/File doesn't exist or Access denied

However, the file and folder of 2Gb or more exist when select it push the browse button on test setting window.
Of course, it exists also on Linux.

Could you please try this version: www.ks-soft.net/download/rma121b.tgz
If it doesn't work, please start agent with -vd option (e.g. ./rma -i -vd rma.ini) and tell us what info agent displays right after startup. You should see something like
