EDIT: Sorry wrong forum, can you please move the thread
Dear all,
I had a frozen server running HM (the reason may have been another application - I don't know). After switching off and on the server the HML file was corrupted.
I'm sorry, but I don't have the exact error message from HM's start
It was like "Only xx tests could be loaded"
That happend more than one time.
Anyone else who had the same problem ?
Thanks
Juergen
PS: A helpful feature would be if HM could create a copy of its current HML file after each successful start. (Last known successful configuration)
Corrupted HML file after ServerCrashDump
It mean file is truncated, theoretically it could happen if system crashes while HostMonitor saves test list.I'm sorry, but I don't have the exact error message from HM's start

HostMonitor saves information when system is going to reboot, so if system crashes right after reboot was initiated, we can have the problem.
Question is why system freezes...
H'm, may be better make backup copy before every save if "autosave" option is not enabled...PS: A helpful feature would be if HM could create a copy of its current HML file after each successful start. (Last known successful configuration)

I think then there is no backup-copy of the current config but of the "before-current". Maybe I didn't understand what you mean.KS-Soft wrote:H'm, may be better make backup copy before every save if "autosave" option is not enabled...JuergenF wrote:PS: A helpful feature would be if HM could create a copy of its current HML file after each successful start.
