TCP Test

Post by veeruns »

Newbie here
here is my problem, rather problems

1) i have to monitor 3 differnt network, with 50 systems on each network (on an average), should i install RMA on all the machines? or is one RMa on each network enough

2) i have few servers running on these machines, if i telnet to them and give commands, they show me the status, can i use the TCP connection feature to do this? if possible can anyone tell me how?

thanx a lot

In most cases one RMA on each network is enough.

TCP test allows you to send just one command and check just one response packet. If its good enough for your needs, you may use TCP test method. Otherwise you need to create some script and use Active Script or Shell Script test methods.
