A very big issue with my version 4.3 hostmon is the "running out of buffer space" after some hours of operation.
When the program intends to send an e-mail alert to our SMTP Server, the following error occurs:
Open Error #500 (500 ESocket Exception: Error 10055 in Function Connect). No buffer space available.
Hostmon is running on a XP Professional System. Only a restart of the system solves the problem, but only for several hours.
Any suggestions?
Looks like some application has resource leakage. But which one... Are you running many application on the system? Or just HostMonitor?
If you restart HostMonitor (not whole system), does it help? If not, problem located in some other application.
