Date Format In Web Page

Post by abendix »

Hi,

Can you please tell me if there is a way to have the date display in the format specified in the preferences when viewing the RCI Web Page?

The specific field being displayed is "Last Test Time" and at present it is displaying in the format "mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss AM" whereas I have set the date format to d/M/yy.

Also the regional settings on the PC running the web servicde and Hostmonitor are all set to the same format.

Regards

Date fields should be displayed in format that is specified by regional settings of the system where Web Service is running.
Probably you are using some old version of Web Service?

The date format is set in the control panel regional settings to d/MM/yyyy and the version of the web services is 1.06.

All dates within the application display correctly, only the dates on the web page (RCI) are incorrect...

Any other thoughts?

Just tested Web Service version 1.06, cannot reproduce this problem.
If I change date format in "Regional Options" dialog and refresh web page, dates (displayed by Web Service) change correspondingly.

The problem was because the 'Use fixed date&time formats' option was enabled in the misc. section of the host monitor options window.

Thanks
