Problem with LDAP query to AD

Post by Wooltown »

Hello !

I am using HM 4.30 on a W2k SP4 server

When I try to connect using only LDAP, it works fine, but when I use Perform search Op I always get "Bad" as result, why ?

tried using dc=Users,dc=acme,dc=com and cn=* as Search filter, Res Limit = 1, I have approximately 50 users.

I have also tried ou=Users,dc=acme,dc=com

Reply is given in Milliseconds, shouldn't the reply be in number of objects ???

HostMonitor sets "Bad" status for LDAP test when operation was not completed before timeout or LDAP server returned some error code (e.g. invalid search filter).
Is there any message in the "Reply" field?

Yes, it always displays reply time. Probably we can change this behavior and display number of objects when "Result limit" parameter is greater than 0.
