IP-Tools have Host Monitor current status printed to html for webpage display updated in defined intervals i.e. every 1,5,10 minutes.
IP-Tools have the History log in html format is oldest at top and newest at bottom, would prefer newest at top and oldest at bottom.
A Plus would be on reset of host html log have the old/current log renamed to a date name format for archive, and have the new log created named the same as the original filename so that webpage link still works each month on a log reset.
IP-Tools improvement suggestions
>IP-Tools have Host Monitor current status printed to html for webpage display updated in defined intervals i.e. every 1,5,10 minutes.
This function implemented in Advanced Host Monitor.
>IP-Tools have the History log in html format is oldest at top and newest at bottom, would prefer newest at top and oldest at bottom.
This is very bad for performance. To implement this behavior software/system must rewrite whole log file every time log is changed.
>A Plus would be on reset of host html log have the old/current log renamed to a date name format for archive, and have the new log created named the same as the original filename so that webpage link still works each month on a log reset.
This is good idea. I have added task into our "to do" list.
