Tune Up with Timeout as reply

Post by ruzickav »

Hello everyone,
I have a temperature sensor connected via SNMP. Unfortunately, from time to time, connection timed out. I am using Tune Up value because of output format. Is there any way to raise BAD / GOOD action only when the reply is bigger / lower than a value (23celsius degree), but not on Timeout? Now when timed out - mail sent. Next round reply value appears as requested - mail sent. I dont want to do some action on Timeout and even on change from timeout to some value lower then limit.

Best regards
Vladimir

Unmark "Treat Unknown status as Bad" option or better increase Timeout and Retries

Not working - action is executed (email sent), when return to "Good" status.

Probably "Action depends on Bad one" option is unmarked (Good action properties)?

What about Timeout/Retries parameters?
