All questions related to installations, configurations and maintenance of Advanced Host Monitor (including additional tools such as RMA for Windows, RMA Manager, Web Servie, RCC).
How can we configure a URL test so that if HostMonitor does not receive a reply within the timeout, the test is assumed to be a Normal test?
The situation is this... We have logic that runs in a web page and sometimes the logic takes longer than 600 seconds to run. When this happens we want to assume that everything is okay, and in this situation we do NOT want to send an alert. If there are errors, our page will respond with error text and the URL test will trigger an alert. That part is working just fine. But when the page takes longer than 600 seconds to return a "success" result, HostMonitor gets no reply at all. We want HostMonitor to assume a Normal result in that situation. Is this possible?
Okay, we have set it up that way. Now we have to wait a few days to see if it works like we want, because this long running page does not happen very often.
