I noticed whenever KS is installed as a service "log on as" and LocalSystem account is used to start service, all UNC tests fails. I then changed log on as to the domainadmin. The service starts fine but the application never launches.
Once the service is stopped, the domainadmin user can launch KS manually and same tests pass.
a bug maybe?

KS 3.7 service fails
KS-Soft is name of the company, name of the product is HostMonitor

So, you have specified user account on Service page in the Options dialog? Probably that account does not have necessary permissions. Or for some reason HostMonitor cannot login under that account. Please, check NT Event Log, there must be message from HostMonitor.
>I then changed log on as to the domainadmin. The service starts fine but the application never launches.
Application never launches? Do you mean you cannot launch second instance of HostMonitor as regular application? Why? Does it display some error?
