%AlertThreshold% through web dashboard

Post by fering »

Hi,

From some reason when i add a field to display %AlertThreshold%I can't see it on the web dashboard. We recenlty purcahse the software & would very much want to be able to show this to our R&D.
i also cant get any parameter.
also why there is no way to show Threshold in webgui
"Display the following test properties:"

Thanks,
Danny

%AlertThreshold% is not a "field". This is macro variable. It has nothing to do with "dashboard" or "web service".

Macro variables can be used as parameters of some actions, also they can be used in Custom HTML Report templates.
For more information about macro variables please check the manual or visit our web site at http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mfra ... .htm#macro

i am trying to add it in test properties lets say in "test name" but it keeps showing as "%AlertThreshold%" instead of showing value. other values are working like %host% or %path%. Why ?

Could you please read the manual?

If you want to use variable as parameter of the test, you should read another part of the manual:
