Issue in running SQL test From RMA on Windows 2003 server

Post by amolsawarkar »

We have application server running on windows 2003 R2 SP2 and the database SQL 2005 Ent 64 bit running on Windows 2003 Ent 64 bit on cluster server.

I am trying to configure SQL test based on RMA on application serevr to watch database access but returns "unknown" status.

We could see in some posts NTWDBLIB.DLL is needed and even a suggestion to copy from SQL 2000 server !

What is correct way to carry out this testing with least additions on application server

Correct way - install MS SQL 2000 Client software
The best way - simply copy NTWDBLIB.DLL from SQL 2000 server to the folder where HostMonitor (or RMA) is installed
