Hi,
Maybe I haven't found it yet, but it seems that RMA-MGR only can run as a program when a user logs in..?
This means, that when no user is logged in, and RMA-Agents have RMA-MGR active, they will try to connect every 2 seconds.. This creates a lot of sessions in firewalls, and also a lot of logs from firewall..
Would it be possible to split RMA-MGR into two.. Eg one part that only handles connections from agents and run as a service. And one part that acts as the program, and connects to the service..?
This would also have the benefit, that you could install the program on a another machine, and still have management.. Without the need to allow management on the agents from more than one IP..
An idea..?
RMA Manager - Split in two..?
Every 30 seconds. I do not think this is a big problem. This means, that when no user is logged in, and RMA-Agents have RMA-MGR active, they will try to connect every 2 seconds.. This creates a lot of sessions in firewalls, and also a lot of logs from firewall..
May be we implement such option but not now. Actually RCC works in such way with Active RMA. It connects to Active RMA thru HostMonitorThis would also have the benefit, that you could install the program on a another machine, and still have management.. Without the need to allow management on the agents from more than one IP..
