Local Time in RCC and Web Interface

Post by jivetolkein »

Maybe I've just not found it, but is there any possibility of adding a Host Monitor server local time to the web interface and the RCC?

My instance runs in one time zone, but many services monitored are in different ones - easy enough when there's only one difference, but it could get confusing as we move into multiple time zones

Thanks!

Do you need just HostMonitor's local time? Probably you need more complicated solution: different time zones for different folders
We have such task in the list

Local time per folder would be even better - just a way of comparing when Host Monitor thinks a test was run with the local time on the server tested, and the time I viewing it - so if I or my colleagues see a fail on the console, we know it just happened, not an hour ago etc.

If all tests in a folder automagically adjusted to local time per folder, that would be superb!

Looks like both options would be useful
- GMT offset on per-folder basis
- GMT offset for RCC operator

I have added 2nd task into "to do" list. Medium priority
