Hi,
is it possible to create RSH Method? Windows rsh- command line utility is useless, in my opinion.

Re: rsh
Do you mean Remote Shell? Do you want to monitor rshd daemon on remote machine? Or do you want to execute some comands on remote system using rsh? I do not think rsh test method will be implemented. We are going to implement "SSH script" test method to access *nix servers using ssh, but I am not sure when it will be implemented.Evgeny wrote:is it possible to create RSH Method? If you want to monitor *nix servers (check processes, services, system load, etc), you may install Remote Monitoring Agent for FreeBSD, Linux, NetBSD, OpenBSD, Solaris on that particular system: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/rma-unix/index.htm

Sorry for ill-posed question. Of course, I mean the ability to send a command to be executed on the remote network devices, and to retrieve its output; like http://www.activexperts.com/activmonitor/functions/rsh/ does, for example.
SSH script test method will be enough, I hope. But it is a bit complicated as for the internal networks, isn't it? I Should admit, SSH method it was my second wish.
I've been testing a lot of NT based net monitors, and, I believe, Advanced Host Monitor is the best. It would be very nice to do all the necessary tests with your excellent software.
Thanks and Regards,
Evgeny
