I think, you should change BaudRate. Could you test it with BaudRate as 19200?

Max

I changed BaudRate to 19200 and got log as below.

[2007-03-19 13:18:05] Sys Set options .. Ok
[2007-03-19 13:18:06] Sys Com port open .. Ok
[2007-03-19 13:18:42] Sys Com port close .. Ok
[2007-03-19 13:18:42] Sys Error: Cannot send message to 13818173720. GSM modem error. No reply on AT command: ATE1
[2007-03-19 13:18:51] Sys Set options .. Ok

It seems this modem can only work under 9600. 19200 not work here.

Have you tried to select "WaveCom Fasttrack" Modem type?

Hi!

I have the same problem, but the choice "Wavecom Fasttrack" doesen't work for me.

I can connect normaly through MS HyperTerminal.
I've tested and i could send SMS trough another program (ActiveXperts SMS and Pager toolkit).

I have the Wavecom Fastrack M1306B, using:

Com Port: Com1
Baud rate: 115200
Modem Type: Wavecom Fasttrack
Mode: PDU
PIN: xxxx

and i get the error:

Sending...
Com port open .. Ok
GSM modem initialization .. Ok
Error: Cannot send message to +386xxxxxxxx. GSM modem error. ERROR was returned on AT command: AT+CMGS=24>0001000B918346311422F100F00CD4F29C0E6A97E7F3F0B90C
Com port close .. Ok
GSM modem deinitialization .. Ok

By and thank you!

I think, it is a baudrate issue. I know, that M1306B supports 115200, however, I recommend to use 19200. Could you try that?

In turn, if it will not help, could you try to select "WaveCom" instead of "WaveCom FastTrack" ModemType, just in case?

Actually, 'CMS ERROR: 513' means 'lower layer failure'. This error indicates a logical link failure or a RR sub-layer failure to the GMM sub-layer. The failure indicates an error that cannot be corrected by the lower layers. There are three possible causes for getting a +CMS ERROR: 513.

* The MS loses the radio link (or the network requests an RR disconnect).
* The MS does not receive an acknowledgement from the network for 28s after the transmission of the Short Message data and times out.
* The MS does not receive an acknowledgement from the network for 42s after the channel establishment request and times out.

Sorry, I do not hink we cn help in this case.

Hi,

thank you for your fast reply!

I think is not a network problem, because if I try to call a phonenumber,
it works perfectly! It's strange!

I think, you have to specify the Service Center number, before starting typing message. You may use command AT+CSCA, e.g.:

Code: Select all

AT+CSCA="+12222333334"
where +12222333334 is a SMS Service center number.

See the listing below, as an example:

Code: Select all

ATE1
OK
AT+WIND=12
OK
AT+CPIN?
+CPIN: READY
AT+CREG?
+CREG: 0,2
OK
AT+CREG=1
OK
+CREG: 2
AT+CPMS?
+CPMS: "SM",0,20,"SM",0,20
OK
AT+CSMS?
+CSMS: 0,1,1,1
OK
AT+CSCA="+111111111"
OK
AT+CMGF=1
OK
AT+CSDH=1
OK
AT+CNMI=?
+CNMI: (0-3),(0-3),(0-3),(0-2),(0,1)
OK
AT+CNMI?
+CNMI: 2,1,1,2,0
OK
AT+CNMI=2,1,1,2,0
OK
AT+CMGL="ALL"
OK
AT+CGMI
WAVECOM MODEM
OK
AT+CGMM
MULTIBAND 900E 1800
OK
AT+CGMR
433_09gm.2C2 1263808 070902 18:42
OK
AT+CGSN
012345678901234
OK
AT+CSMP=1,,0,242
OK
AT+CMGS="+99999999"

I succeed to send SMS following your advices.

The problem was the command: AT+CSMP.

My configuration was:

AT+CSMP?
+CSMP: 1,85,0,124
