Excuse me for my English.
I make a proposal for Log Analyzer:
Add: filter:
Last hour
Last day
Last week
Last 8a.m to 8p.m
and:
Last day (for example) preset configuration (at start Log Analyzer).
Like ManageEngine NetFlow Analyzer 5

Do you want to see such options as dropdown located in Filrter window?kutz12 wrote:I make a proposal for Log Analyzer:

Actually, Log Analyzer 4.0+ supports scripts. Scripts allow you to generate reports automatically by schedule. Log Analyzer Script file (default extension .LAS) is a simple text file that contains commands for the application. You can create and edit script file using any text editor (e.g. notepad). To execute a script, you should start Log Analyzer with the following command line parameter "-script:<name of script file>"
http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/la/index.htm#Scripts
So, you may create several script according to your request options and schedule it using HostMonitor's built-in Scheduler (Options > Scheduler) or standard NT scheduler.

Max

Yes!
also (it's more important)
Last day preset configuration at start Log Analyzer (from menu Test/Show statistics...)
1 week ~ 20 000records
1 day ~ 2850records

If you are using latest version of Log Analyzer (version 5.29) and you store log using ODBC data source, you may mark "Use this source as default log" option and choose "When Date filter is not specified analyze current WEEK ONLY" option.
These options located in "ODBC logs Manager" dialog (that is available thru Log Analyzer menu File -> Setup ODBC logs)
I hope that's what you need? Then we can add "analyze current DAY only" option...
