Not Fly-By-Night
ks-soft's HostMonitor is the best investment I ever made. That's my testimonial from a networking business owner.

Backup Procedure that works and its free.
[Windows 2000 Workstation & Server w/ HM 5.30] I'm a backup fanatic. It's not a question of "if", it's a question of "when" your workstation or server is going to crash. Here is a DOS prompt backup.bat I use to COPY the entire HM directory to another external HDD on a seperat...

Crystal Reports type of charting a must.
Well, I would like to see very nice charting capablities in HM. There's nothing quite like printing-out a beautiful chart and handing it to your clients. I understand the current charts, but I'm sure CEO's don't really understand anything other than pie and bar graghs.

Nothing comes close to this software!
I've tried many monitoring softwares and find HM the absolute best! I would like to see ks-soft give the EventTracker by Prism Microsystems some competition. Remote Managment & Updates From Any IP. (dynamic IP User
I would like to see a future option (check box) much like the "Accept connections from any IP address" also for the following boxes: "Enable remote managment from address(es)" "Enable remote updates from address(es)" I currently use the following IP ranges: 10.0.0.1-127...

No Answer = Bad?
HM 5.30, RMA 3.14.......... I've configured an alert so when a status is met an email will be sent to the client mailbox advising them to restart thier workstation. Q. Is a 'No Answer' (status column) considered a 'Bad' status? I have checked by default "Treat unknown status as Bad", but u...

Well, that works. I would like to see a future option (check box) much like the "Accept Any Connection" you currently have. I know it seems a bit strange using the long IP subnets, but since I'm now on a dynamic IP provider, it's the only alternative I have. I feel it would be a nice optio...
