Is there an SNMP server out there ?
Hi there, This is not exactly HM stuff, but it is related to it the way I will use it. Do any of you know a program or utility that runs an SNMP server ? Let me explain, I need to query some data via SNMP from a Sun machine about the Tape and disk I/O, unfortunately there isnt (I did not find) any O...

importing test folders
Is there a way to import the test folders ?
I Import/export the tests into an excel spreadsheet for easier manipulation and that works fine but when I re-import the tests I need to recreate the folders manually before import.

Unfortunately the switches I have a problem with are on a private network and cant be accessed via internet. My description was not exactly accurate, if I use a snmp browser like OidView I can read the oid however command line progs like snmpget or snmputil and HM report an error. I tried on cisco 6...

SNMP cant read 64Bit counters
When trying to retrieve any 64Bit counter value via SNMP I get: "Error: cannot retrieve data. Unknown variable (OID)" I have verified my oid and I can get the value via a command line snmp get. Here are is one example on 64Bit IF counters on Cisco switches 1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.1.3 Returns ...

How to use Good Status Action ?
I may be missing something obvious but I seem to have a problem with the "Good" Status action. I want to check cpu, if I have 100% on 3 successive tests I send a sms page, I did that via "Bad" Status Action and all is ok. Now I want to be be notified if the status of the cpu goes...

OID for CPU usage on Cisco 6000/6500 or 2948
I just seem to be unable to find an oid for the cpu usage for a cisco catalyst switch 6000 or 6500 or 2948. It is supposed to be 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.2 or 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.5 but I dont have 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.x in any of my switches also the 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.57 is not there. Is t...

is HM multi threaded ?
I am trying to run many tests launched by scripts and some of the scripts can take fair a bit of time to complete, I have noticed that HM will not launch another script until the previous has finished. So my questions are: - Can HM run multiple tests simultanously? (multithread) - Can HM run multipl...

At this time I am only evaluating the product so I am not pressed to get that thing working and the developpement should really go in the way of the current users.
In any case it makes more sense to look forward rather than to fix something that will be replaced.
Thanks for looking at it so promptly

I just would like reinforce the idea of the alarm escalation if not acknowledged. The person on-call or at work may for a reason or another not get the alert and it needs to be escalated, without escalating all the alerts. Also it would be nice on the status page to see if the alarm has been acknowl...
VBS on HS
Hi There, First I'd like to introduce myself, I am new to this forum and am currently evaluation AHM, so far it looks good however we would like to do a few more things with it and it seems we will need to do some scripting which I'll be happy to contribute to the board when they are done. Perhaps I...
