Solution
Never mind ... the RMA version listed on my remote Windows machines was 3.84, listed as 'operable'. I updated to the 3.96 that came along with HM 8.06, and surprise! text log tests ran normally again.

Text Log test failure after upgrade to HM 8.06
I upgraded to HM 8.06 a few days back, and since then all of my passive-RMA Text Log tests return a status of Unknown. The Reply value is RMA: 500 - Unknown command "TEST-TextLog2" Any ideas? Do I need to do RMA updates (or full HM installs) on all of my remote servers? Thanks for any sugg...
