I can't seem to get this working as desired, I have configured as you suggested yet no email is being sent at the desired time. Basically I want these tests to monitor a constantly fluctuating numerical figure every 1 minute 24/7 (Number of users stuck in queue). Once a day I need to send an automat...

(Peak value must only be valid for that 24 hour period and then be reset) I need to know what the highest number of users that were connected at any one point during the d...

NT Event Log Test

Hi, I am trying to configure a test to check for a specific event within the application log once every 24 hours. If the event is found then I would like to send an email reporting that the status of the event is ok. If the event is not found then I would like to send an email reporting that the sta...

I disabled database logging and left it running for 4 days for testing and the errors still occurred.

I use SMTP to send email alerts and these errors appear whenever an attempt to send an email from hostmon is made. All this was working fine before I upgraded to version 7.18.

I think behaviour that you need is described in example #4 www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mframe.htm#tests.htm#usrstatusprocessing Example #4: you may configure HostMonitor to use Normal status for 1st and 2nd failed probes, use Warning status for 3rd and 4th failed probes and set Bad status starting ...

New Feature Request

Hi, I was just wondering whether there would be any chance of adding the following feature with the next release: I would like the option of being able to add instructions to an alert for individual tests. E.g. When you have Play Sound & Display Alert it would display the alert box on the screen...

It depends on how often do you need to check each test item. E.g. if want to perform each test every 5 min, RMA will execute 473/60/5 = 1.5 tests per second (average load). Don't see any problems. Regards Alex A third of the tests will be checking every 60 seconds so 158/60/1 = 2.6 tests per second...

If you need to monitor hosts protected by firewall, we recommend to use Remote Monitoring Agent (RMA) www.ks-soft.net\hostmon.eng\rma-win\index.htm Regards Alex Due to the number of servers we have I would prefer not to install individual RMA Clients on each server. I was thinking along the lines o...

As I understand, you are using "Performance Counters" test to check memory usage? What exact error do you see in "Reply" field? Actually, "Performance Counters" is heavy and not pretty reliable technology, so we recommend to use "WMI" test instead: http://www...
