I would like to add that we're getting this error too. About 20~30 times a day. This happens on rhel3 and rhel4 x86 machines. I don't know what the actual bugfix was for FreeBSD, but possibly it also applies for Linux? I don't know. But a fix would be really nice.

FYI, here's the init script that we're using on RHEL3/4 boxen; place in /etc/init.d and activate with chkconfig --add <script-name>. It's written in POSIX sh, so it should be usable on any platform that does sh and SYSV init (although you might have to fiddle with the ps arguments depending on your ...

We're running RMA-1.00 agents on RHEL AS 4 and Debian Sarge. Both platforms give this kind of behaviour.

Thanks for the tip regarding additional tests, just tried it, and it works. Can't wait for the new release of RMA tho Being able to run actions on linux boxen is imho a really needed thing. I'll be monitoring this forum and the download page
