The package is already installed Alex.. It's the GNU common stuff installed in /usr/sfw/.

I can't see the libs that seem to be required by RMA in there either.

Sparc platform..

I'll have a look at that package but can you please send me the source as a backup please. I'll have a go at compiling it locally.

Nah, I think it's due to the RMA binary being compiled with a different version of GCC and so the libs are missing.

I can't find the libs it's looking for or I'd put them in /usr/local/lib and change my ld path.

Has anyone else gotten the RMA binary working on Solaris 9?

Problem with RMA on Solaris 9

Hi folks.

I'm trying to get rma working on Solaris 9 but the binary fails with:

ld.so.1: ./rma_s: fatal: libgcc_s.so.1: version `GCC_3.3' not found (required by file /usr/local/lib/libstdc++.so.2.10.0)

Any ideas anyone?
