Hi Alex!
Initial one would configure the RMA(s) "as is" and use it that way! If you wanna change the "Accept connections from IP" section, You cant do that - unless - You edit the .ini file local on the RMA. Would'nt it be nice/needed for many RMAs, to be able to edit/change this?
What about multible source IPs when we're talking about Remote Management and Remote Update IP-address??
.. and finally... what about IP-ranges regarding all of the above?
I know this is only beta-x, and You may have above "items" on hold... just wanna pull out a flag on behalf of all the happy HM-users! ..
Cheers,

Probably I misunderstand something.. but you can change list of IP addresses using RMA Manager.
>What about multible source IPs when we're talking about Remote Management and Remote Update IP-address??
Yes, we have this task in the list.

Are you sure you need this? We do not have any customer that bought more than 10 licenses, most of customers have running HostMonitor on 1-3 systems. It means you need to enter just several IP addresses in the list.
Of course RMA Manager can be running on administrator's home system that connected by dial-up and uses dynamic IP address. But when you will be able to provide address like "192.168.1.*" as remote management address you will not need to use range.
Regards

Well... Mayby it's me who misunderstand something here? When I bring up the RMA Manager... then click on the Agent Configuration. Where to edit/change anything regarding the "Accept Connection from the following Addresses" list? Well, I can tag in/out those IP's who's allready there, but I cant add/edit/delete any - or can I ?
Are You working with a newer version than me? I downloaded RMA Version: 1.01c beta.

Well... I think we bought a license who was "extended" for everything... ie. just ONE Hostmonitor against plenty monitored servers/services. Can I buy a higher license? (Okay, I know.. I can buy MORE Hostmonitor licenses)
For now I'm testing v4.x beta from "one IP" and our production Hostmonitor is running from another IP. I dont think You'll claim that I shall buy - yet another - license just for that - right?
On behalf of that, it would be "nice" if one could step from "test" into "production" without reconfiguration of remote RMAs.
But... If I can use a wildcard - ie. 192.168.8.* it will do for me... since my "test" Hostmonitor is located just beside the "production" (read: valid licens) Hostmonitor! Soo... would wildcard be inside next RMA version?

You are right, I have newer version of RMA Manager. There is update at http://www.ks-soft.net/download/rmamgr101.zip

Right

So, specify 2 IP addresses in the list of acceptable addresses. You don't need range of IP addresses. Right?
>Soo... would wildcard be inside next RMA version?
Wildcards will be supported for "Enable remote management.." and "Enable remote upgrading..." options.

Roger! Downloaded. Not I can Edit current listed IPs. Cant delete or add? Anyway, I'we made several "0.0.0.0" to the master RMA.INI file - that will work for now!

Hmmm... we misunderstood here... that was from me pointing to remote management and update features... regarding accept from HMs (working at different IPs) - then you're right.. i'll just specify my test AND production IP.

Looking forward to that!
