Hello,

I just wanted to know how you can achieve this with Hostmonitor without adding snmp trap to every alarm.

I'm a bit surprised that VM host status of VM guest status can't return BAD status when a critical alarm is on.

Maybe this should go into wishlist?

What kind of VMWare product(s) do you use? vSphere + vCenter + some database?
and alerts recorded into database?
and you have ODBC driver for this database installed on HostMonitor system?

Then may be ODBC Query test method can be used?

What exactly VMWare software and database do you use?
Can HostMonitor access this database?

Regards
Alex
