How to monitor Hostmonitor? Best Practice?

Hi,

how can we monitor the Hostmonitor (Server)?

If the server hosting the hostmonitor is down, how do I get an info?

Is there a (onboard) watchdog tool that can send a message "Hey your hostmonitor is down"

No Idea?

it is allowed to install the host monitor a second time with the existing license to monitor the main instance.
So only with the test PING and Service of the host monitor.
