Hello,
can it be found out which users are used as "login users" for the tests?
You can enter login data to run the tests under a specific user account.
Is it possible to "search" for a user here?
The background is that a user is constantly locked and we suspect that he is being used in a monitoring test and fails, but we do not want to check every test.
Maybe with a filter? / Column?
Thanks in advance
Hostmon version 13.70
Windows Server 2022
System Up2Date
Find specific user which is used in Monitoring checks
Version 13.80 offers such optioncan it be found out which users are used as "login users" for the tests?
Test Properties window offers new popup menu items:
...
Find record for this host in Connection Manager (Ctrl+Q)
Application checks for appropriate record based on agent, host, and test method. Records for specific host and agent are prioritized; then application checks for records with agent set to "any", for records with IP range; etc. If only default (*) record found or no matched records found, HostMonitor offers to create a new record
That's opposite task, find tests by the user. The background is that a user is constantly locked and we suspect that he is being used in a monitoring test and fails, but we do not want to check every test.
Sorry, there is no such option but new version offers Find popup menu option in Connection Manager dialog. So you may check if there is record for the user and remove or correct it.
If there is no such record, check "Connect As" option using menu File -> Import to text file and then open in any text editor with Find option
Or just find test with Unknown status and "Access is denied" message in Reply field. If user account is locked then test probe should fail.
