|

Hi there,
Every now and then the Hostmon does not recognize that all RCC connections have been closed.
RCC handshake ... Failed. HostMonitor response: Command is not allowed. License limit: You may use up to 2 RCC consoles
I usually have to restart the server, which is of course not so great.
Is there any other way of solving this? Or why is the termination of all RCC.exe processes not recognized? The colleagues only open the RCC on the server itself.

What helped was starting the main application and ending the service. No further connection was displayed in the RCI Status Tool.
Main application closed again and the service connected, RCC is working again.
Maybe its a workaround. |

HostMonitor version?
RCC version?
Windows version?
Antivirus version?
How you drop connection?
- close RCC window?
- kill rcc.exe process?
- shutdown system where RCC was running?
- disconnect cable?
- something else?
Regards

We cannot reproduce the problem.
If you close RCC connection on HostMonitor side, HostMonitor waits 15 sec (at least), allowing remote operator to finish work or cancel disconnection.
If you kill rcc.exe process, HostMonitor works correctly as well.
Can you try different system?
