|
|
I have the "Dominant Process" test running against 5 like servers. Randomly (at least once a day) HostMonitor alerts are triggered from all 5 servers with the message "Reply : Error: The RPC server is unavailable".
As well, the Windows System event log on the HostMonitor server shows "DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer XXXXXXX using any of the configured protocols...." at that same time.
Anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this? |

All systems (including HostMonitor) in the same LAN and same domain?
Windows version?
I assume tests like CPU Usage, Process, Service fail at the same time?
What about tests like Ping, TCP, SNMP, Traffic Monitor? "Host is alive" or "no answer" status?
Regards
