Hi, it's me again.
We bought Enterprise Version.
So i need to look all security issues.
Can we interface Active Directory login (Ldap) with HostMonitor instead of user/password in "Hard" in hostmonitor.
I created a profile for each admin (User -> operator) for RCC and WebInterface. But i wanted to ask, Where the password are stored? Are they encrypted? Are they hached? Are they stored in clear?
Thanks, have a nice year |

Happy New Year!

No such option. We tried to implement this option a while ago but encryption related Windows API did not work correctly on some systems. Probably this was fixed, we will get back to this task in version 12

Encrypted, stored in HostMonitor config files, HostMonitor/RCC/RMA never sends passwords over network.
If you need more details, please use e-mail (support@ks-soft.net)

Windows authentication for RCC->HostMonitor connection implemented in version 12, should be available in November or December.
