hi team,

we have the web page active and can access it via the admin user
my question is there a way to "bypass" the username/password with a direct url
?

we want to make a "view" user that can access the webpages directly via a direct url
something like : https://hostmonitor/ws2/index ?&userid&password

i hope you can help me here

Depends on your web browser.
Years ago all browsers was able to login if you specify URL like
https://username:password@hostname/path

But now IE will not accept such URL, FireFox should work but we see unreliable results (usually works), Chrome does not work (looks like it is not sending credentials but we still testing...)
What browser do you use?

We want to make an andoid app that connects directly to HM webpage ( only with read access offcourse )
So the browser should be chrome.
