Hello,
The overall status of the P2000 would have to be the "Overall Unit Status".
I take the description that this sensor message reflects this status or do I see it wrong? The Mibbrowser returns the status as OK.

But this is the Status of the Sensor itself.
I need the Return Value of the Sensor.
Does anyone have experience with the monitoring of P2000 or MSA2040?
regards

Hi
thanks for the answer
Here is the MIB File for HP MSA Storage Systems.
Will Hostmon be able to monitor this Storages also via ILO?
Finding out SNMP OIDs is so difficult.....
https://www.file-upload.net/download-12 ... P.zip.html

connUnitSensorName.32.128.0.192.255.29.184.46.0.0.0.0.0.00.0.1
On-Board Temperature 1-Ctlr A
Status of the Sensor -> Reply Value
connUnitSensorStatus.32.128.0.192.255.29.184.46.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.1
ok(3) --> this is the needed Information.

Thank you.
As I see you can check status of the sensor, integer=3 means status Ok.
unknown(1),
other(2), -- the sensor indicates other than ok, warning or failure.
ok(3), -- the sensor indicates ok
warning(4), -- the sensor indicates a warning
failed(5) -- the sensor indicates failure
There is connUnitSensorMessage counter, it may show error message related to the sensor.
I do not see "Value of the Sensor" data.
If you provide access, we can test it this week
(and correct our code if there are some problems related to this device...)

Alex

I hope we upload version 11 next week, there are 5 tests related to HP iLO.Will Hostmon be able to monitor this Storages also via ILO?

Its good idea to install Beta on test system and check how it works with your config.
Otherwise you will receive release, install it on production system and suddenly discover - it does not work properly.
We test HostMonitor a lot and we do not upload anything that works unstable on our systems. But we cannot test HostMonitor on your system.
So far we did not get any bugs reports related to version 11.10. So, if there are any bugs, you will get them in release as well.
