|
|
Hello everyone,
The issue
I can't seem to get any test to work.
I have a Linux server. I have a folder on that server that keeps updated with files everyday even every hour.
The test
I'm trying to do the following test:
Monitor primary folder + all subfolders, on every new file that comes in I need to get notified by mail with the message body that says what is the path to the file (under which subfolder) and the file name.
i tried doing this under file availability test with newer file option, but it didn't work because the files that been uploaded to the server are sometimes files with old stamps(modified date) and not new.
can someone please help me? |

Then HostMonitor will not help you. You need some application that will keep list of all files and inform you about any change...
