Hi all,

I have HostMonitor running on a virtual machine (Windows server 2012). Everything runs well and the RCI is working fine on ths virtual machine.

When i try to access it from an other machine it prompt for logon credentials. When i give it in, all i get is an empty page with the toolbar at the top. None of the buttons function.

Can anyone tell me what im doing wrong??

RCI is interface for RCC, Web Service, Telnet service, etc.
What exactly client do you use? RCC, WebService, Telnet Service?

It is different clients with different capabilities.
Web Service works like web server and provides access over http/https in client web browser.
RCC - is client application that looks almost like HostMonitor GUI.
Please check for details at:
RCC: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/rcc/index.htm
Web Service: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/webservice/index.htm

If you are using Web Service, then we assume you are using old web browser not HTML5 compatible.
What browser do you use?

Alex

Quote from the manual - Recommended web browsers: Google Chrome 32+, Opera 12+, FireFox 24+, Internet Explorer 11+ (some other browsers can be used as well, e.g. Safari for iOS)

We cannot reproduce this problem.

May be scripting disabled?
IE: menu "Tools" -> "Internet Options" -> "Security"...
Firefox: type about:config, search for javascript.enabled...

Alex

You may check the following link:
http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/webservice/index.htm#howtodo
It looks like JavaScript does not work in your browser.

My problem is solved. It had nothing to do with the settings of HostMonitor, apperently it was a firewall issue
