I am trying to store my daily logs in a folder with the short month name and year. IE: Today's report would go in the C:logsMay03 folder but a file for June 1 would go in the c:logsJun03 folder. I tried doing this with macros but it only seems to affect the actual file name and not the folder name. Using the macro functions in the folder name ends up not writing any log information anywhere.
Any ideas? |

You can use macro instead of the folder name but you have to create folder(s) manually.
In your case path to the log file should look like "C:logs%mmmyydd%.htm"

OK, that works exactly as I need it to... I was putting the % in the wrong place which is why it wasn't working correctly.
Thank you very much! |
