Greetings:
Are there any plans to include a built in network broadcast function as opposed to calling net send via an external batch file?...
For my particular application, this would be an immensey useful function, and much more flexible than an external batchfile...
Thanks,
Richard.

Truth to say I don't see any difference. Why it will be more flexible than standard command Net Send * "text with macro variables"? Why do you need BAT files? HostMonitor can start external program directly.

Well, in at least three instances I want to notify multiple people about an outage (notably the helpdesk, which always has someone during business hours), and the easiest way to accomplish that is to write a batch file with the necessary net-send commands in it... Since HM already has some network browsing functionality built into it, I wouldn't think it would be a huge leap to add a builtin net send command to a list of users...
Regards,
Richard.

Sorry, I missed this message.
Probably you are right. I have added this task into "to do" list with "low" priority.
